Baking has been a part of who I am since I was a child. One of my earliest memories is sitting in the kitchen as a toddler eating thumbprint cookies my mom made from leftover pastry dough and jam, while my mom and grandmother made pies. I have always loved how a baked treat can bring a little joy to your day.
My whole world changed December of 2017 when my twin sons were born two months early. My three months of maternity leave didn’t seem quite long enough, and after returning to work for two months, I decided to quit my career in order to be a stay-at-home mom.
While home with my babies, I found myself in the kitchen during nap times rekindling my love of baking and whipping up pies, cookies, cakes, and bread for loved ones. Now, I would love to share my treats with you, and I hope they bring a sprinkle of ajoy to your life.
